20 Episodes of Radical Futures podcast in 2025

Conversations that mattered during difficult year.

There is very little to celebrate as we near the end of 2025; a year filled with oppression, brutality, hatred and war. At the Radical Books Collective, we were not able to sustain many of our usual activities such as book clubs, seminars or book events. The extreme violence in Palestine and Sudan has been draining and has diminished the capacity to focus, plan and organize as usual. Many people like me and platforms that do similar work as us have been left wondering how to move forward, how to effect change, how to sway hearts and minds, and how to channel resources and momentum towards building an ethical world. There are no easy answers.

Meanwhile, I’m celebrating the small victories. I started the Radical Futures podcast sometime in May 2025 and stuck to a simple agenda: to speak honestly with writers, artists, scholars, activists and educators about the state of our world today and ask how we might move towards liberation, freedom and decolonization. I was grateful for every single guest who came and chatted with me. For all those who supported the podcast by listening, watching, subscribing and following, a heartfelt thank you. And for those who are hearing about it now, please follow Radical Futures on the links below.

Wishing you all a restful end of the year and a promising start to 2026…

Love and solidarity❤️‍🔥
